Disabled Access

Facilities for those with Impaired Mobility

Please be aware that the University are commencing building work which will affect access to the Richard Verney Health Centre from Monday 6 August 2018 and will continue for a period of up to 18 months. Our disabled ramp access and entire access at basement level will close from this date for the duration of the building work.
The University have designated an alternative accessible route for those who can not manage the steps which will be signposted from the commencement of the project. Anyone requiring assistance to use this route will be able to telephone for University assistance and details of the contact number will be on the signs.

We do apologise for any inconvenience this will cause. Please be assured that we have sought changes and adaptations for our patients to minimise inconvenience during  this work.  We appreciate your patience and assistance with this.

Please do give yourself extra time to get to your appointment as you may be delayed during busy times whilst using this alternative entry route.

In the event of the lift being out of service, an arrangement can be made for a doctor or nurse to see you on the 1st floor. Please telephone 0131-650-2777 or ask another visitor to the Health Centre to alert the receptionists on the 3rd Floor.

A portable hearing loop system is kept at the 3rd Floor Reception Desk.
