If you are prescribed regular medication that is not on the repeat prescription system, you will need to book a telephone consultation with a GP prior to this being issued. Please ensure that you allow plenty of time to book the appointment prior to running out of your medication.
At present, routine telephone appointments are available 1 or 2 weeks in advance, but could be longer if there is a specific GP you wish to speak to. Once the prescription has been generated, please also allow 2 full working days before collecting it, unless otherwise stated by the GP.
