Consulting Arrangements ( after COVID 19 restrictions)
Due to patient demand and to improve the quality of our service we have altered our consulting arrangements to a more appointments based system.
To maintain accessibility we have Open Access* consulting in the morning from 9am to 10am, for our registered patients requiring general medical consultations. These arrangements will be applicable all year round, thus avoiding the previous disparity between academic term/non term times. Open Access is only available to patients already registered with this practice. (*If you attend for Open Access you must be prepared to wait as this is a very busy surgery and patients are seen in turn). As it is often busy during Open Access the doctor may only be able to deal with a single or urgent matter. Whilst we will try to accommodate requests for a specific doctor this may not always be possible.
Please note Open Access can get very busy and on infrequent occasions it may be necessary for us to close it early but patients will be advised of this on the day.
If you book an appointment and later find you no longer require it, please ring and cancel (or cancel it via the online appointment service if you have signed up for that) so that it can be made available for another patient. Routine appointments are usually 10 minutes.
